Who knew there were more than 2,000 choices of olives and the first olive trees were discovered around the year 1789? Marie Weidemiler of Venice Olive Oil Company presented a sensational olive oil program at the monthly ladies luncheon meeting at the Venice Yacht Club.
She educated more than 50 women on the history and importance of olives.
