The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
John Clarke Nydam, 41, 5400 block of Clayton Drive, Venice. Charge: domestic battery on a person 65 or older. Bond: $7,500.
Steven Zaloum, 52, 500 block of Beverly Road, Venice. Charges: trespassing, possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams. Bond: $1,000.
Hunter Lee Bachmeier, 25, 200 block of N. Portia St., Nokomis. Charge: contempt of court for failure to appear for arraignment. Bond: $2,000.
Gerald Simon Boisits, 72, 600 block of May Apple Way, Venice. Charge: domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.
Michael Anthony Casey Jr., 25, 600 block of May Apple Way, Venice. Charge: battery. Bond: $1,000.
Todd Michael Waggoner, 56, 500 block of Albee Farm Road, Venice. Charges: assault on a law enforcement officer, firefighter or EMT; disorderly intoxication; resisting an officer without violence. Bond: $2,150.
Jason Dale Grant, 40, 5300 block of Dream Lane, Nokomis. Charge: unarmed burglary of an unoccupied structure. Bond: none.
