VENICE — The tech building at Venice Theatre has a name at last — The Boldt Technical Art Center.
The center was renamed Wednesday in honor of Venice City Council Vice Mayor Jim Boldt and his wife, Donna, who donated $1 million to the theater. They signed the donation papers in a special ceremony inside the scene-building room at the center with several volunteers in attendance.
